Our trip to New Orleans for the weekend to hang out with Frank was too short, we visited places that reminded us of our childhood days “ Lake Pontchartrain” , he showed us some of the destruction that Hurricane Katrina caused that is still evident today, visited some of the historical spots and went bar hopping one night, another night a bar with one of the best views of downtown New Orleans, ate at a favorite restaurant where the locals favor, we even visited some friends of his that he cooked for and we were invited with open arms to share in the delicious meal and got to see an art exhibition of CCH Pounder the morning before we left. All in all it was one of the most fun weekend I’ve had, and was able to spend some quality time with my good friend Frank. Thank you Frank look forward to doing it again someday soon.

Frankie is the most amazing tour guide. My friends and I (all females) were picked up from the airport and taken straight to our hotel. The following days were filled with Frankie taking us to various places of interest , museums, parks, arts and crafts, and restaurants. Every evening we were escorted to numerous bars in French Quarters and the infamous Bourban Street. Live music on every street corner. Frankie forever ensuring our well being. One place of interest was a Musical Centre built in the heart of the disastrous area where Katrina completely destroyed so many homes. After school and weekends, Children from the area are taught to play an instrument of their choice. Given free meals and supervision provided to complete their homework. A state of the art building, and a joy to witness young people learning a new culture despite their surroundings outside the Centre. So yes, if you ever get the opportunity to visit New Orleans, contact Frankie. I have been fortunate to travel to many countries...Frankie made our holiday the best ever.
